Each number above a row or beside a column represents a number of filled-in squares. You have to fill in that many squares in a row. For multiple numbers, there has to be at least one empty square between each group of squares. For instance, if you had the numbers 2 2, you couldn't go ####, you'd have to use ##_## at least. There is no limit to the number of blank spaces between each block, but you can only use the exact number of squares indicated by the numbers. The challenge comes from completing the rows and columns at the same time.
