For augs we should also pick up multispectral vision.

I love how it took like two post to go from “Choose a species” to “Let’s craft a penis on our character!

I think we'd want implants or cyborg. Nanotech is cool, but visually uninteresting.

...and actually, i like the hair style and mod placement the girl has in the previous image better than any of the ones here. Clothes A or B works if it's not practical running around in a dress all day.

Lets go with nanotech, we can make visible augmentations later if we want to look cool.

Alright get up, from the blood you hit your head on a crate... or someone hit your head against the crate. Until we know for sure suspect foul play so be on your gaurd.

First things first, treating your wounds. I expect the fridge might have some ice, and your shirt can be cut for a temp-bandage if theres nothing here that can be used otherwise. Just incase look over the room for anything that resembles a first aid kit.

anyways just push the door open and DON'T GO IN. not right away anyways. try and scan as much of the room as you can before you enter and just stick your more metallic arm in first just incase someone is waiting by the wall by the door. This way if they attack you they only attack your arm not 'your' body or head.

How do you know they didn't have any?

We should scan all implants in our body for IDs. See if we can find out who this used to be. Should also compare the results of our scan of your dead body to the new one. What's changed in the way of implants? (Ie, what do we have now we didn't before and vice versa).

Kinda nice the skin matches so well, at least.

You know what was probably in the fridge? This body's head. Makes sense to me.

Search the dead body, and scan it for implants and ID. Check what the blue thing behind that end-table. And behind the couch. Check the drawers for anything useful, the books on the table for secret compartments, and scan that big ass bookshelf and see if anything registers. (Maybe there's something electronic inside or behind a book? We don't have time to manually search through them all, though).

Ok, I think this operation went FUBAR big time. Who wants to bet the guys who would get you extracted are dead as well?

Since searching the body is the obvious idea lets look over the rest of the room afterwords. Things to note in this room:

Two doors besides the exit. Do a quick check in each room for enemies. Be prepared to dodge.
Painting with the word EVIL pointing at it. Might be our enemy. See if we can't identify them.
Drawers, check these.
Wastebasket has blue stuff same colour as the word. Check this
Writing on the wall behind the couch, can't make it out now, might be a further clue.
Books on the table. Look them over.
Fuck huge bookcase, not seeing anything out of the ordinary but a quick scan of available titles might tell us something
Ceiling plants. Might mean nothing since this place had a lot of plants outside as well.
Human-type shirt or jacket on the coatrack. At least I think its human. Means our dead friend isn't the only occupent.

So current theory is this guy/girl is your "murderer" who stole your credit stick even though it couldn't use it. We can send any kind of media through the portal network, but it takes about twenty minutes to reach the closes inhabited planet. About a week if it’s going to the other side of the Empire. As the Morgani owns the planet they probably own the portal that orbits around it too. They probably are keeping a watchful eye on all the information going through it.
