@Mu: Some of us always want to kill people. Sorry about that.
As it stands now? Gram has been repaired, and has dedicated his life to putting everything right. He's not even really the same person, since much of his mind needed to be reconstructed. It's effectively the same as if he was under some sort of mind-altering curse, which is a rather severe mitigating factor.
We aren't ignoring everything he has done, but killing him now would just prevent him from fixing the damage and working off his debt to society.
Our goal is to improve the happiness and quality of life for all sentient beings, and we are rather big on cold calculating pragmatism. If he returns to being a monster then we will kill him without hesitation, but until then we're going to let him be a force of good.
We've been using you the same way. The card scammer lost his Item ans was jailed because he was harming others and we felt that was the best solution.
We obtained the pain blocker for Teri because it improved her life. Her addiction gave us an excuse to commission the creation of a cure for said addiction. Her disease enabled us to bring it to a trio of master mages so that it could be cured for the sake of everybody.
So, no, we will not kill you. However, we will prevent you from killing Gram - before you even bring it up you broke the terms of our agreement so we are under no obligation to help you kill him.
We want you to be happy and we'll help you as much as we can, but we'll keep Gram alive as long as he's helping others. We will be seeing to it that your master is resurrected, but what other goals do you have? Does your mind hold nothing but revenge?
Oh, and from experience? Revenge is never satisfying as you think it will be. You'd be horribly disappointed.
