A race of short humanoids appearing in some quests, and a longstanding mainstay in fantasy.
They tend to be short, stout, prone to industry, as well as averse to sobriety.
They are often hairy and pride themselves on their commonly long and well-maintained beards. They live underground when they can manage it, working with their advanced tools in their various crafts and toils. Dwarves are generally shown as at least fond of alcohol, if not completely dependent on it.
